Terms and Conditions

DOM-OS provides professional home automation installation and control services, including:

• Custom home automation system design and installation
• Mobile application for device control
• Ongoing support and maintenance
• System updates and improvements

3.1. Optional Feature

• Certain features may use geofencing to determine whether your device is inside or outside a configured “home” region.
• This feature is optional and is not required to use the core home automation functionality.
• If you do not enable it, related presence-based alerts and automations may be unavailable.
• DOM-OS does not collect or store your device’s precise location; geofence signals are used to update home/away status on your in-home controller.

3.2. Location Permissions

• The mobile app may request location permissions (including background location, depending on your device settings) to detect geofence entry/exit events even when the app is closed.
• You may deny or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

3.3. Disabling or Enabling

• You can request that we enable or disable location-based features for your controller/account during installation or later.
• Disabling location-based features or denying location permissions will stop the controller from receiving your device’s geofence status.

3.4. Limitations

• Geofence and presence detection may be affected by device settings, operating system behavior, battery optimization, and network availability.
• Presence-based alerts are provided for convenience and are not a safety or emergency service.

4.1. Site Assessment

• Professional assessment of installation location required
• Customer must provide accurate information about the premises
• Additional charges may apply for undisclosed complications

4.2. Installation Process

• Installation will be performed by certified technicians
• Customer must provide necessary access and utilities
• Installation timeline may vary based on complexity

• 50% deposit required before installation begins
• Remaining balance due upon completion
• Additional services will be quoted separately
• Subscription fees for ongoing services billed monthly

6.1. Hardware Warranty

• Manufacturer's warranty applies to all installed devices
• Installation work warranted for 12 months
• Warranty void if systems modified by unauthorized parties

6.2. Software Support

• Regular software updates provided
• Technical support available during business hours
• Emergency support available 24/7 for critical issues

DOM-OS is not liable for:

• Internet or power outages affecting system operation
• Damage caused by unauthorized modifications
• Issues caused by third-party devices or services
• Missed or delayed alerts due to operating system restrictions, notification delivery issues, or inaccurate location/presence detection
• Indirect or consequential damages

Either party may terminate services with 30 days notice. Upon termination:

• Outstanding balances must be paid
• System will remain functional but unsupported
• Access to advanced features may be restricted
